Great hidden bar..follow the lane. Enjoyed a drink only. The bartender was very attentive. They are opened on a Monday night!! Reasonably priced and offer food options. They also offer nights with bands. Definitely drop in when in the area.

Amazing cocktails, knowledgeable and helpful staff! Very unique atmosphere to devour - everything seem to be thoughtfully decorated from the past giving the vintage feel. Suited for celebrations and other major events in life which needs to be memorable. If you are an explorer off past and drinks, you will love it!

had my first ever drink here with my boyfriend on friday night. a goth baddie sealed my “witches brew” cocktail with nitrogen and they played enjoy the silence by depeche mode twice which is truely such a beautifully constructed symphony that really encapsulated the essence of the crypt

Absolutely lovely place! If I'd like e here i would definitely be a regular. The staff and guests are all super friendly and its such a nice and welcoming vibe! Plus excellent drinks!

Staff are very friendly, they have a massive variety of all types of spirits with something for everyone. The cocktails have a novel and charming presentation. Best Cocktail Bar in Ballarat hands down

This is a cocktail bar, I only had wine and sweet potato chips but they were delicious. Lots of seating options including couches. Interesting decor, lots to look at and, in my case, enjoy.

It’s such a hidden gem! They have such a welcoming atmosphere and the bartenders were very friendly and polite. On top of their excellent hospitality, their cocktails were just on point. For someone like me who doesn’t like too sweet cocktails, theirs were one of the best in Victoria! I’ll definitely come back here when I visit Ballarat again.

By food I meant cocktail, because, this place just confirmed the sacred unwritted rules about drinking: when is a barlady making your cocktails expect the unexpected, and you still will be surprised. And Ballarat, let me tell you something, you should come here and have a try because she will exceed your expectation! AMAZING cocktails, perfectely balanced and carefully crafted, that results in an magistral execution. We had an "Acid Vial" and a "Fortune Teller", I can t decide wich one is better. But what do I know? I m just a Sommelier..come have a try, thank me later.

Our recent stay in Ballarat had to include a visit to The Crypt. My taste in music and clothes, as well as that decor and vibe on the photos already posted made it a must. We got there early before dinner on a Friday so it was a bit quiet but the experience was neverless great. Cockails got a big tick from us. We look forward to visiting again and would love to see something like this venue in Melbourne or preferably Elwood ;-)
